Should ever be forgot.
Guy Fawkes, twas his intent
To blow up king and parliament.
Three score barrels were laid below
To prove old England's overthrow.

There were fire works near Whyte Ave most of the evening last night.

England is such an odd country. It's the only place I know of which commemmorates the attempted assassination of the monarch with.... funfairs and celebrations?
Finally a country that realized that attempted crimes are no crimes at all...
I wonder if perhaps it's the successful _foiling_ of the attempted assassination etc. that is being celebrated....
